Yes, I agree with Pierce. I think Ryan is a smooth operator, even if I can see through some of his claims and realize a lot of them are baseless comments. However, I think Obama pitched the same stuff at the college age constituency last election. It’s all about this new hope that never seems to materialize. I didn’t get to hear the entire Ryan speech so I’m curious whether he provided concrete solutions that would address this problem surrounding our jobless college graduates, or if he used his discussion about stopping Obamacare as an indicator that it would be accomplished through cuts. But it was a key portion of Ryan’s speech because now Ryan has covered the whole age spectrum, from old Medicare recipients to broke post-grads. Unfortunately, I have a feeling that in order to achieve this promising economic climate, someone is going to have to pay a high price.
